Because Disney.

(rocks and grass needs fixing, plus adding birds)

Heck. This was fun. This was REALLY fun. I didn't want to stop, I still don't want to stop, yet school is beckoning. The rocks still look horrible, so I decided to look up some references, and I'm going to change them completely. For the rest I was just trying to color again, inspired by another artists' tutorial. After finishing the simpler one on the left, I decided to try to combine a character with a background, something I've never really attempted at this level before. This is just SO much fun. It makes me want to draw more, more and MORE!

However, this is me at this very moment, and I'll be different again later.
Right now though, this has reminded me of why I wanted to learn to draw in the first place. Funny how Art Academies have this tendency to drag you away from your main stimuli. Nobody knows how to educate artists in art anyway. An Art Academy is nothing more than a human created system for a chaotic profession. One thing is for sure however; they offer a surrounding where art can flourish. Different subjects, different assignments, different challenges. They offer inspiration and time to develop. Just, beside that, allow me the time to really do what I want without judging, because in the end, everybody has a different definition of what art is, and what it should be. I'm here to learn, but whilst doing that, I don't want to forget where my initial passion for art actually came from. I'm not here to get a job, if I wanted that I would've chosen another study. I'm here to create art, improve myself, based on that passion within, a passion that, I sincerely apologize, wasn't fueled by Picasso.

/End rant.
